Welcome to the first issue in the fourth volume of the Journal of Higher Online Education. In this issue, we feature peer-reviewed research about minority women in online programs, workplace spirituality for online educators, and mental illness in online college students.
In addition to peer-reviewed articles, we have two non-peer-reviewed articles. Our Reflection in Online Education this issue is written by Dr. Denise Harshbarger, a member of the JOHE Journal Board, who discusses the CAST Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework and how it can be used by online instructors. We also have a book review about Jon Gordon's The Positive Dog and the benefits of positive thinking.
