Welcome to the first issue in the third volume of the Journal of Higher Online Education. This is the first issue published under JOHE's new editor, Sarah Fulkes. In this issue, we introduce a new section of the journal: Reflections in Online Education. This section includes non-peer-reviewed articles that thoughtfully explore theories and practices within the realm of online education. The first such article is by Todd Wente, M.Ed. as he explores the strategic roles that instructors can fill in an online environment.
This issue also features peer-reviewed articles on Computer Assisted Assessment (CAA) and on the impact of culture on distance learning in Millennials. It also includes a book review of Design Thinking for the Greater Good: Innovation in the Social Sector.
